Factory air conditioning can be utilized through the use of the optional A/C assembly package (#4PFX110-080). Applications include 1964-1968 260/289/302 vehicles that utilize the Paxton passenger side mount configuration. For the 1969 351 Windsor V8 passenger side mount system, most vehicles incorporate an A/C belt tensioner on the compressor support plate. In these instances, a water pump pulley (#4PFX016-011) must be ordered with a proper length A/C drive belt sourced from an auto parts supplier.

These two configurations utilize the 1965 Mustang (York-style) compressor support, pulley diameters, and offsets. This allows the retention of the alternator, power steering and A/C compressor, however, the smog pump, if equipped, must be eliminated.
