Twin Supercharged Barracuda Featured in Drive Magazine, Nov, 2008
After a two-and-a-half year wait (during the build), those who attended the Good Guys and other car shows in the Midwest were finally treated to viewing Glen and Ange Baugus’s incredibly potent 1972 Plymouth Barracuda. With its twin NOVI-1200 supercharged 6.1L Dodge Hemi V8 neatly tucked away, this Plymouth is quite a contrast to those Paxton dual-blown Avantis and Shelby Cobras of the past. And, with careful attention to detail from builder Ron Owens, Ron’s Motorworks, Bernie, Missouri, this is one ’Cuda that ranks among the nicest ever built, let alone the fact it’s be able to really scoot with nearly 700 horsepower under the hood.
Drive Magazine decided to feature it on the cover of their November, 2008 issue:
“His '72 'fish' is a two-and-a-half year labor of love that runs as strong as it looks. Working closely with Ron's Motorsports, the car has been highly modified with the best stuff available.”
