When Team Falken Tires decided to boost their Formula Drift Mustang GT it was with a NOVI- 2000 compressor. The 700HP 4.6L V8 GT driven by Vaughn Gittin Jr. out-drifted more than 70 drivers to become the first American (and American car) to ever win in a D1GP drifting event, a series that originated in Japan, the birthplace of drifting. Vaughn entered his first drift event in 2003. He’s a quick study who loves throwing a 3000 lb. GT into a hard slide at 90 miles-per-hour.
