The Team's Preference

The Mopar/BF Goodrich-sponsored NuFormz Racing Team felt that to be competitive in Formula Drift a power adder needed to sourced. Paxton began their Team association with the addition of a NOVI-1500 to a Mopar 392-cu.in. V8 under the hood of their Dodge Charger driven by Samual “The Crazy Swede” Hubinette. When a couple of Dodge Vipers were added for the campaign, both were supercharged with the potent NOVI-2000 air/water charge cooled system that pegged the dyno at 738 rear wheel horsepower. This combination proved successful with Hubinette piloting the NuFormz Viper to a 2nd overall finish in the 2008 Formula Drift competition.
